The above system diagram is a typical 25 KW solar array with ENERPAK solar charge controllers to support 6 of level 2 EV charging stations, and one level 3 fast DC charging. The system will provide constant 25KW charging capacity (peaked at 50KW) without grid power supply. 5 KW grid power supply is used for backup, in case that solar power is not sufficient. The system can be implemented without grid-tie approval, it is applicable for any existing gas station with large roof area, or empty land for solar array installation.
The system can be expanded and interconnected to form a micro-grid (208~230V / 3ph / 60HZ ) to increase the capacity. For future expansion, any number of regular grid-tie inverter may be added to increase the capacity of the system.
