WH Engineering | Enerpak Prepares Architectural / Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Drawings to apply for the Cold Cell Construction Permit on your behalf. We build the new cold cell addition with a shed to your existing home.

The features of the cold cells:

  1. It is totally separated from existing homes, except for the shared basement foundation walls.

  2. It is used as a cold cell which is fire-separated from an existing home with an excess from outside under a shed. The cold cell can be used to store emergency food supply, as the temperature will be maintained between 5℃ and 12℃ (40 ℉ and 54℉).

  3. It is used as an emergency shelter for any high impact low frequency (HILF) events, such as wildfires. It allows the homeowners to stay safe inside the shelter while protecting their homes.

  4. The addition will house Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery connecting the solar charge maximizing controller system to provide emergency power supply;
