Enerpak & WH Engineering are part of WH Mechanical Inc.
ENERPAK has completed the “PV4EV” level 2 charging pilot project & working on the DC controllers for EV fleet operators. Prior to the founding of WH Mechanical Engineering Inc, Wayne has been working in the mechanical and electronic manufacturing industry as an engineer for over 20 years. With 3 construction trade licenses, and P. Eng. license, Wayne has been offering independent building engineering services to the clients, as a professional engineer in Ontario since 2007.
The existing power grid does not have enough capacity to electrify all vehicles. Our 48 volts solar charge maximizer systems provide sufficient solar power for level 2 EV charging. Our 400 volts systems provide DC current from solar arrays to the batteries in the electric vehicles and charge EVs without transformers, inverters & converters.
The solar charge maximizers allow us to harvest the energy at the locations where we use the energy, without heat loss. The energy is charged to the Electric Battery and saved in the hot water tanks during the day, and they are used to charge the EVs to address grid power capacity issues. They are used for hot water heating to save gas consumption.
ENERPAK provides contracting services to supply and install the whole solar charge maximizer systems directly for the Ontario customers. For clients outside Ontario, we ship our solar charge maximizer controller products to our authorized dealers.
Two patents were granted. A pilot project of providing solar power for level 2 EV charging was completed in Aug 2024.
